Using TrnsferText Cmd, How do you Create a "Specification Name"?

Greg Bobak

I'm trying to create a macro using the "Transfer text" action-command. One
stumbling block is how to set-up a Specification name to run a set of options
so that I can import a text file using the Delimited Import criteria. Any
thoughts.
PS. I actually was able to create "one" to import one text file. I don't
know how I did it but it works. However, any attempts I've made to create a
second "Specification Name-Import Specification have failed. Any help??

You create a specification by doing the import process once manually. Start
the manual import process, select a file, and then click the
'Advanced' button in lower left when the wizard window displays. You can set
the settings there and save the specification with a name. Once saved, you
can cancel the rest of the import process.
