Using Visio Org Chart Wizard with Excel

There's a brilliant expalnation on the MS help site called "Visio5: Using
the Visio Database Wizard with Microsoft Excel"

Unfortunately I can't find something similar for org charts rather than
drawings. Is anyone aware of such a thing?

I am not sure what you would like to do but you can import/export the org
chart data from/into a spreadsheet using the import export functions in the
Organization Chart tools. Open up an Org Chart and the Organization Chart
will show up in the Functions Bar (Rile/Edit/etc.) Scroll down to import or
export. The export function is real easy but the import is a bit more
difficult.
