Using Visio To document Network

Is there a way to use VISIO in a non-intrusive way to document a small
network node based on a IP Range as opposed to having to re-diagram manually.

all effective network discoveries are intrusive, it is just a matter of what
algorithms are used. If you are at v2000/v2002 Professional with the VENT
addon product you can do it with VENT (that was about a $500 addon). If you
have a small single site, the Visio Resource Kit ($200) includes the Fluke
Lan Mapshot tool which is probably adequate.
