using winfax with office

I have been using Word and Excel for several years with no problem and
WinFax2 to fax things from different programs. All of the sudden Winfax
pops up but does not display the document I mean to fax. This just happened
recently. I also get a message in Word about Macros not being enabled or
something. When I go to tools, Macros there are a few things mentioning
winfax but not sure how or if I should turn them on or off.
