Using Word and Excel in one Macro

I need to copy and paste lots of graphs (over 600) from
Excel into word. I can get a macro to copy in Excel, and
a macro to paste in Word, but I can't link the two
together. Can any suggest a way of doing this?

Hi Ian

Let one of the apps take control and do everything, don't try to make Excel
run a Word macro.
