In Windows, Outlook allows the use of Word as the text editor. Is this possible in Entourage? If not, is there some way to insert Autotext in the same manner allowed in Word?

AutoText is not available in Entourage; AutoComplete is, though. You cannot
connect Entourage to Mac Word in the same way you can connect Outlook to Win
Word. However, if Entourage is set as your default email application, you
can compose your message in Word and make use of its advanced formatting
capabilities. When you are done, just click File>Send To>Mail Recipient (as
HTML), and Word will pass on the message to Entourage. Note that once the
message is in Entourage, you can no longer make modifications to it, and you
cannot add attachments to it.

You can create a message in Word and then select "Send as e-mail
message" from the File menu.

Autotext is Office-wide; anything you have in Word should be there in
Entourage as well. Check your settings in Preferences and the Tools
menu.
