Using Word as email editor in Outlook 2002

After performing a clean install of XP Pro and reloading Office XP, unable to
use Word as email editor. A message is produced that says word is either busy
or can't be found. I had this problem previously, and Microsoft tech support
resolved it by editing registry, but it took them 2 weeks to complete after
multiple attempts. And, unfortunately, they didn't provide a summary of the
fix. I open to suggestions. Thanks.

Please check and make sure you do not have word starting when you boot your
computer and log in. Also check the startup folder for office products and
remove them from the startup folder
