using Works to read Word documents

I only have the word processor that comes with Microsoft
Works on my compute at home. If I take a Word document
from my office where I have Microsoft Word, is there an
easy way to work on the docuemnt in Works at home and save
it again as a Word document to take back to my office?
How would I save it at work before taking it home on a
Diskette? How would I save it at home before bringing it
back to my office?
