UsysRegInfo table missing

Margaret RM

Hello, I am working with some add-ins and somehow have deleted the
USysRegInfo table. I was cleaning up some files and must have deleted
something because now my add-ins are gone and I can't re-install them because
this USys table is missing. I see in other posts to go the the "Office button
in the top left corner" to check on options but I don't see that button.
What screen should I be on to see the Office button? I did the a MS Access
Repair but that did not help.

Thanks,
Margaret

Where things are to be found varies by your version of Access. What
you are looking to find is "View System Objects"

Are you talking about the Tools->Options->View->System Objects check box? I
have that checked.

Maybe I'm asking the wrong question - is the USysRegInfo table part of a
regular MS Access database or part of the Add-In ???

Thanks

You should be able to see some tables that start with "MSys...."

USys.... is one of those objects that can be created and that add-ins
will use.

try the microsoft site:

http://search.microsoft.com/results.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US&q=Usysreg

That will probably get it for you. but if that fails...

Maybe someone who has worked with installable add-ins can help you
with the issue.

I know that Ken Getz lays it all out in his Access [Version up to
2000] Developer's Handbook 32 bit editions.

You might google the Access newsgroups on terms of interest.

There may be help on the Microsoft site

Thanks for the link. I created a table with the fields from the MS site but
it still won't work. I will try the people who wrote the add-in but so far
they have not responded to my email. Thanks again. Margaret

confirmed.

Just a thought, maybe it's not an add-in, but a referenced mde
Try to add it to your references instead
