A client has an access MDE database (copy right data is 2000-2003!!) Currently its running Windows XP Home with Access 2003 without any problems.
The has a new PC installed running Windows 7 and Office 2010. When I moved that database code and database files over to the new PC I get the following error when opening the application.
"Your Microsoft Office Access database or project contains a missing broken reference to the file `utility.mda`.
Now I know that utility.mda is very old and one could remove the reference in "tools / reference" however that is greyed out as this is a MDE database I guess.
Two questions.
1) There is a utility.mda download at Microsoft but seems to be only 32 bit ? is there a 64 bit version ?
2) What options / work around do I have given that I have no source code as its MDE ?
Regards
