Utility to merge and work with PST files

B

Bill Bradley

I'm in need of some kind of utility to work with PST files. What we need to
do (ideally) is to sort, search, remove items, repair, merge and export,
items or the whole file. This would need to be done on multiple computers
and multiple users.

Our system is using Exchange 2003 SP2 and OutLook 2003 SP3 or 2007 SP1.

I've searched Google and SlipStick, but, haven't found such a utility--does
anyone out there have some ideas?

Thanks, in advance!

I don't think you'll find anything that does everything in the list. What
are you trying to accomplish and we may be able to suggest the best tool for
the job.

http://www.sherpasoftware.com/microsoft-exchange-products/pst-policy-administrator.shtml
offers many pst management features.

Thanks, Diane.

A couple of things...we have about 1500 users, and, quite often have to fix
or merge PST files that they've created over the years.

Also, some users have HUGE, multi-GB PST files, and, we're needing to go
through them and sort, delete, search, and, export into smaller files.

I'd probably use GPO to prevent PSTs... have you checked out the sherpa
tools? c2c.com also has some PST tools.
