I have a database in Access97 used by thousands of pastors. I have converted
the memo field which contains sermon illustrations into an ActiveX RTF box.
I have two issues:
1. The formatting of the Rich Text-formatted records spills over onto
succeeding records if they are not Rich Text-formatted. How can I avoid
this? Or, how can I automatically apply a generic Rich Text format to
thousands of existing records?
2. The database has a nifty feature that exports records to the Windows
Clipboard (we call it the Clip or Accumulate feature). RTF records get
exported with all the embedded font codes visible. How can I configure the
Clip/Accumulate feature to export the records in RTF format?
To download a test version of the database with the ActiveX field, go to
http://www.holwick.com/RTF_test_database.zip (it also contains a help file
for the general-release version).
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not a skilled programmer
myself, but I get a lot of help from geniuses.
