v 97 Workspace problem

I had created a workspace file that opened 5 files one on top of the other.
It worked fine but after several months I wanted to update which sheet the
files opened at so re done it.

Now the last file that opens zooms the font to either something minute or
227%. Or it will open the files cascaded and not maximized. I tried many
times but each time there is a problem, is this a bug or something I am
doing?

Seems it should be straight forward enough, I'm opening the files (ensuring
they are maximized) and using File/Save Workspace.

Any ideas please?
