v card attachments

We us pop 3 email through our ISP. We send out appointments with the customer info, taken from our Outlook contact list, attached as an item into the appointment. Then the person receiving the appointment can drag the customer info; attached as a V card, to their contact list and the appointment will show in the person’s calendar. Now this worked fine up until Feb, which at that point our ISP changed our pop3 account. Now when the appointment is opened the attached V card shows up as dashes and tildes (~-~-~-~-) Our Outlook versions range from 2000 to 2002. Not sure which version of Exchange our ISP uses
