V iewing hit count and discussion group without affecting their values

I have a website that I created using FrontPage which includes a hit counter
and a discussion group. Is there a way for me to view the value of the hit
count and the contents of the discussion group without changing the hit
count or clicking on "post" to look at the "contents"?

Open the discussion web (on the live site) in FrontPage, and view the
relevant files in FrontPage. The counter has it's count file in the
_private folder.

Do not edit the discussion web Table of Contents - it is likely to break
if you do. You can delete the content of inappropriate posts, but do
not delete the posts themselves.
