Validate Enterprise Resources, invalid name

Hi guys,

This is a tricky one. I have a user ie. Kimberlee Smith. Her Resource name
is "Kimberly Smith", but her windows user account is kim.smith. I am running
project server 2003 and sharepoint portal 2003 on the same box. I have
project server using the windows authentication. Every time I try to add kim
to the resource pool, I get "invalid name" under the error column. The
resource Name is highlighted in "red". I know that this should work, since I
have 3 other users who have different logins, and resource names. I have
gone as far as deleting her profile and re-establishing it.

If I change the resource name to match the login name, then I get an
entirely new error" Name or Windows Account error. Please help...not sure
where to go from here...thanks

Hi Andranik,

If you haven't already, you may wish to re-post your question to the Project
Server newsgroup (Microsoft.Public.Project.Server.)

Although many of the "server gurus" visit this newsgroup as well, I think
they are more focused on questions from the server newsgroup.
