Got Office 2007 Home/Student. Finally am able to install it. Now I try to get
a nifty little add-on to "Save as PDF" on Microsoft's site. The validation
tool stops me. It says I have a valid Office 2007, but it complains about
Small Business Office 2003.
Actual message:
"Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003: Validation Failed No valid
Office key was detected. This is a strong indication that
the Office product installed is not genuine."
My laptop came configured with a trial version of Office, and I can see this
"Small Business Office 2003" in the Add/Remove programs. Now I'm concerned
that if I choose to remove this trial version that it will mess up my new
Office that I just installed.
My question is, is it safe to remove this "Small Business Office 2003"
without affecting anything else in Office, including Outlook Express? (it was
complaining Outlook Express and Explorer were both open and to close them
before I proceeed to remove this)
Thanks
