I am having an issue where my Office 2007 will not validate. This is what
happened:
1. I installed Office Standard 2007
2. I activated the program
3. I installed Access 2007 separately
4. I activated the program
When I select an online template from Word, Excel, or Access, I receive the
following:
"You may be a victim of software counterfeiting. The following Microsoft
Office software installed on this computer is not geniune:
2007 Microsoft Office system
To find out why we cannot validate....."
I then click the "Get Geniune" button and it validates successfully. When I
try and access an online template again, I get the same thing. I have tried
the following:
1. Deleting the opa12.dat file and reactivating the program
2. Deleting the Data.dat file and validating again through the
http://www.microsoft.com/geniune website
Nothing seems to work. Can anyone please advise.
