Validation request on Office 2007

I have a laptop and desktop each running Vista. I purchased a Home & Student
edition of office and it came with 3 licenses, one of which is still to be
used.

On my laptop there was a full trial version of Office Installed, but when I
loaded the paid for version, it validated fine and I thought that was it.
Now, whenever I try to download a template, I am asked to validate, as it
seems to think it is an illegal copy, which of course it isn't. When I
validate, it says ok, but will still not let me download the template.

My Dell desktop which did not have a trial version installed has never had
any problems.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

You should have uninstalled the trial version before installing the Home
and Student version. So, uninstall them both and reinstall the new one.

I am having a similar problem i just posted. I bought a new computer with
2007 Office installed for Trial i was told by Circuit City when my Trail was
over I could then install my 2003 Office I already bought in 2005 (the old
computer died). Now I am unable to get it validated and I need office to work
