Value calculations based on Access date, category and value info

Hi there

The required is this: to return daily / monthly updated values for a range
of properties based on info below.

The information we have for each property in Access is:
1. Purchase date
2. Cost
3. Property category

This question is an Access one - I should be able to do the Excel calc myself.

Is it possible to
a) automatically export this info to Excel,
b) perform a calculation (based on days owned per year, % property value
escalation per category per year), and
c) return a value
to be updated on a daily basis?

How would this be done, or is there a better option?
