Value does not display in cell

I went in and checked zero values. The prob;em with the
that is that it puts zeros in every cell of the worksheet
that is blank.

No, I don't think you will ever see anything in a BLANK cell! You will
certainly see 0 in any cell with a formula that evaluates to zero. You have
to decide whether or not you want to see any zeros. If you do, you must have
"view zero values" checked. Then, to get rid of those you don't want to see,
you would need to modify the formulas, for example:
=IF(YourFormula<0.005,"",YourFormula)
