value list base calculation

I defined an Enterprise Number Field from type Number on a Task level that
indicates to which department the task belongs: 1,2,3 or 4. The numbers are
defined in the Value List.

I'm trying to create an Enterprise Project Number filed from type Number
that will show again on a task level, if the Enterprise Number Field = 1 than
the Enterprise Project Number = 1 too. if the Enterprise Number Field = 2
than the Enterprise Project Number = 2 and so on.

Is there a question in your post, I don't really see one.

Nonetheless Project level fields, whether they are normal or enterprise,
are at the whole project level. On the other hand, task level fields
apply to each individual task. Given that, it doesn't make much sense to
create some type of relationship between task and project fields. What
am I missing?
