Have you tried?

I haven't, but I know you can manually install some of the items from
the Office X value pack folder to the proper locations in Office a2004
and use them (eg: the assistants, the extra models...).
I wouldn't try it though for some "lower le tols" like spelling checker
and other add-ins...

Yeah I had tried as soon as you posted this query in my iBook having Office
2004. It starts the installation but in the end it says " Office X folder
not found" and quits

You can't use the Value Pack Installer because it looks for Office v.X.
However, you can drag individual files from the Value Pack folders to
appropriate places in Office 2004. About the only things you need to do that
with, though, are the clipart files. Office 2004 already has most of the
former Value Pack stuffed into it. I noticed that an installation of Office
v.X including all of the Value Pack was something like 575 MB. The size of
just the Office 2004 folder is about 575 MB, and this is without all of the
Assistants and about 50% fewer graphics files.
