Dear all,
I am a new user for Excel 2003. I used Excel 2000 before. I have the
following problem using Excel 2003 to link other Excel files. It is highly
appreciated if you could advise.
I have a worksheet (lets refer it as "wks1") and it requires to link many
Excel files which saved in different folders in LAN. When I do the update for
"wks1", I will open all the worksheets and update the links to "wks1" and
then also save it in LAN. However, I found that the linked cells will change
to #value / #ref if I just open "wks1". I did the same thing when I was
using Excel 2000 and there was no problem. I use SUM & SUMIF in the linked
cells.
Are there any options / tools that I need to setup in Excel 2003 to avoid
this problem?
Thanks for your advice in advance.
