Hi

Anyone have any ideas why a worksheet when opened has replaced
virtually all the cells with the error #VALUE

These were not formula or links, just data
Mixture of free text/dates/numbers

Is the data lost permanently?

Can't think of anything that would turn data only into errors.

Sounds like maybe the cells originally contained formulas or links that returned
the error.

Someone didn't like that so copied and pasted special as values and saved
workbook.
