A user has noticed an oddity in Excel 2003 and now Excel 2007: It
spontaneously changes certain values.
For example: 2685.98 sometimes changes to 2621.98 (a difference of 64) and
1915.45 sometimes changes to 1883.45 (a difference of 32). It may be doing
this to other numbers; the user has only noticed these two. It happens in
all spread sheets.
Sometimes you see the "correct" value (2685.98) in the cell and the
incorrect value in the formula bar; sometimes the incorrect numbers will be
in the cell and and the formula bar.
We've uninstalled and reinstalled 2003 and just upgraded her to 2007; no
change - the bug remains!
We're considering a rebuild but that seems extreme for this small yet
important problem.
