Outlook and Outlook Express are two different programs. You would have
much better response by asking this on (depending upon your version):
microsoft.public.inetexplorer.ie4.outlookexpress for OE 4.x
You will probably have to fix the links below, just copy and paste
them into your browser...

ps
To find your version:
Open OUTLOOK EXPRESS
Select HELP from the menu on top
Select ABOUT MICROSOFT OUTLOOK EXPRESS
If those groups aren't carried on the news server that's carrying this group
try using msnews.microsoft.com (MS's public news server that's the source
for all the microsoft.public newsgroups). The links under the newsgroup
references are for use with MS's web newsreader (not exactly the best way to
post but it works for some people)
Also a good source of Outlook Express info can be found here:

Nikki Peterson [MVP - Outlook]
Hi,
I've been using Outlook Express and somehow, all of the
contents of my "inbox" have vanished. When I try to
receive new mail, an error says that there may be a "store
file" and that I should go to my utilities and do a "scan
disk" which I have done. Is there anyone out there who
has experienced this? I run an online magazine which
outlook is used for the submissions that come in, each of
which is crucial that I respond to, and these emails are
lost; not only that, but I can't receive any emails
anymore. Please help????
Richard
