variable report column widths at print time?

Hum, that is neat feature. No, ms-access dos not.

However, it does mean that field alignment will be messed up.

What you can do however is make one large field, and concatenate the several
fields together in a text box, like:

=([department] & " " & [colb] & " " & [colc])

Thus, all 3 fields will be shown in the one long box.

Albert, neat idea, I think...a good time to used fixed
width fonts, perhaps...ideally, I would scan the data set
and determine and set column widths page by page...crunch
crunch crunch...

Thanks

Tom
