Hi.
I have created a project and have assigned about 40 tasks to myself as
a resource (backtracking for work already done). Now instead of going
into PWA and filling in the timesheets for each of the days, I just
marked each of the completed tasks as complete. In project
professional, the resource usage view shows the time-phased work of
each task, with an equal value filled into the actual-work section.
Publish, update etc... Now when I get to PWA, all 40 of the tasks
appear in my task screen, all saying they are incomplete with 0 work
done and no times showing in the timesheet.
Why is this?
Is there a special option I need to invoke to allow a PM to publish the
time-phased time for people?
Also one of the tasks is 50 hours of work. 25 to me and 25 to a local
resource. Now that task has been marked at 100% complete, with the time
phased resource views of myself and the local resource both showing we
did actual work for that task. But in PWA it lists that the total time
reaming for that task is 50 hours? Any ideas.
Thanks,
Matt
