Various office software editions

I am trying to organize my Microsoft software to find out which programs I
have liscense rights for. For example, I have (these are all original or
upgrade versions) Office XP Small Business Version 2002, Office XP
Professional Version 2002 - Upgrade, and Office Basic Edition version 2003.
I have a product key code for each one, and there is a part number on the
front of each disc.
Two questions: Is there a way to check online with Microsoft to confirm
which liscenses they show I have purchased? Alternatively, is there a place
to enter the part number or product key in a secure way on the Microsoft site
to get the same information?
Second question. I have a laptop with Windowx XP Media Center Version. Can
I copy the Power Point program from one of my Office editions to my laptop?
How would I do that?
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

First: No and no

Second: Generally speaking,, you can install Power Point from a retail
version of Office. You'll have to read the EULA to be certain.

As to check your license, there is no such records. However, With some
versions of Office 2000, and any office applications since then all
required activation. So only your serial number is recorded on MS
database but for retail versions of packages (as opposed to OEM
versions) the information is wiped clean after 120 days.

As to installing Power point, I suggest use Office 2003 as you are
allowed to install it on 2 systems - desktop and any portable device.
Office standard edition contains Word, Excel Powerpoint and Outlook ad
you can install everything from this CD. It should activate
automatically online as well and although you don't have to give
personal info, you can register your name etc. if you want to.

And to further confuse the issue, Office XP SBE is OEM only and can only be
installed on the system on which it came preinstalled. Likewise, the same
applies to Office Basic Edition, also an OEM Only sku.
