The company utilises PProf2007 and PServer 2007.
Our market is an everchanging beast, and as such the charge out rates for
our Enterprise Resources need to vary on a project by project
basis.
EG A resource performing an eg "PT1" skilled task may be charged out at
$75/hr on one project, but $82/hr on another.
I have noted that if I change the resource charge out rate on an individual
project in PProf'07 that the value will get overwritten on the next opening
of the project by the enterprise global values.
So, How can I seperate each projects charge out rates? Can I still maintain
the cost tracking functionality of Project Professional? How will PServer
view costs of a project?
Not easily I assume... so any thoughts would be appreciated.
