Hello,

In Access, is there any way to lock the VB Editor with a password?

In Access 2K and later, open the code editor menu, Tools > Properties. Click
on the Protection tab and click on "Lock project for viewing" and provide the
password. Write down the password and keep it in a safe place.

Chris,

Wow, I had to jump through hoops to find it. In Access 2003 it's:

Tools, Macro, Visual Basic Editor, View, Project Explorer, Export
Properties, Protection.

That said, I wish to thank you very much for leading me on the right path.

Next time go to the modules tab in the db window and push the code button on
the toolbar or Alt-F11. Up at the top of the screen just to the right of the
middle is the code editor's Tools menu. Click on that and slide down to the
4th item on the menu, Properties, then click on the Protection tab.

Or from the Access window, Alt-F11, Alt-T, E, then click on the Protection
tab.
