VBA code to filter on date

I'm trying to filter my project to show all activity between two dates.

I can use the Filter - date Range menu option, but if I try to record myself
doing this, the dates that I type in aren't recorded - just the name of the
filter thus:

FilterApply Name:="Date &Range..."


Could any helpful person out there give a pointer as to how to filter my
plan to, say, 17/01/05 to 21/01/05
