VBA disabled for A2000 mdb by A2002

And the answer is . . . opening the Access 2000 database
from an Access 2002 workstation USING A SHORTCUT does not
cause the problem; doing the same USING A DOUBLE-CLICK OF
THE MDB in vitro causes the problem.
