VBA error message

I am using Word 2002 and something new has developed.
When I launch Word I get the following Visual Basic error
message: Compile error in hidden module: AutoExec. I get
it again when I close Word, but in between the program is
fine. How can I get rid of this message?

Hi Doug,

Before I had a chance to use the tips in the article you
referenced, something strange happened. I had experienced
a problem with Adobe Acrobat earlier and had deleted it.
That's when the VB error message came up in Word. I
reinstalled Acrobat and the VB message in Word
disappeared - any clue as to why that might have happened?

Thanks, Fred

G'day "Fred Spilka" <[email protected]>,

you would have (maybe inadvertently) modified the location of the icon
for PDFMaker and that would cause a reference to be made from your
normal.dot to the pdfmaker template.

Scrap pdfmaker, and Word starts hunting for its lost reference.
