VBA Help Files for Word

Some home computers come with Word installed but not the VBA help files (and apparently without this on the CDs). The mentality seems to be that a home user would never want to program the computer.

Is there an easy way to get the MSWord-VBA help files from Microsoft, or to access them online?

Such mentality is in the domain of the OEM who assembled/supplied/sold the
computers. To obtain the files, you would need to contact the company from
whom the computer was purchased.

The files do come with all retail versions of the software.

Hi Aaron

The VBA Help files *are* on the CD, but they aren't installed by
default. Rerun the Office setup program from the Add/Remove Programs
app in the Control Panel. Hit the "Add or Remove Features" button,
open the Office Tools icon, and set Visual Basic Help to "Run from my
computer". Then click the Update Now button.

If you don't have the CD, the help files are on the Microsoft MSDN web
site. The Word 2000 VBA help, for example, starts at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/off2000/html/wotocobjectmodelapplication.asp.
