VBA Macro to Search for MACROBUTTON

L

Leo

Hi everyone. I would like a VBA that searches for every MACROBUTTON nomacro
field in a document one by one and when it encounters each one, it activates
the field code (i.e. F11 it) and waits for the user to respond to the
displayed text and then searches for the next MACROBUTTON nomacro field and
so on.

Thanks!

G'day Leo <[email protected]>,

Umm, and what is it you would like to know to help you get started on
writing this for yourself, or do you wish to pay someone to do it fait
accompli for you?

I highly reccomend checking out word.mvps.org/FAQs/index.htm, start
with the VBA / Macros tab and do the 20 minute tutorial.

Additionally, what you propose makes little sense, so a tighter
specification is still required anyway.

Please remember we are not paid slaves who sit here to make all your
dreams come true. We are here to help solve Word problems - not do
your job for you. If the latter is required, please run straight to my
website, tickle my paypal account, and I'm all yours to scrub toilets
or whatever for as many days as you need :)

Hi Leo,

Answered somewhere else:
Show field codes,
Search for ^d macrobutton (not case sensitive),
Hide field codes.

Next time the macro is run, it'll find the next macrobutton field.

Klaus

Hi Klaus,

Yes, your assistance was a great help. I created the macro and it worked.
Have a superb day!
