They can (I do!) have both Excel 2004 and Excel 2008 on their computers.
First, TEST the solution to make sure that it runs in Excel 2004: the VBA
there is two versions behind Windows, so some code won't run.
Alternatively, you could load CrossOver Mac and a copy of Excel 2003 or
Excel 2007:

I loaded Parallels and a real copy of Windows and Office 2007:

Some people prefer VMWare Fusion:

Generally, Parallels has the edge unless you want to run Linux as well:

op
VMWare is a bit reticent about publishing its system requirements: I
suspect that it does not yet support Mac OS 10.6 or Windows 7. I am running
Windows 7 in Parallels in OS 10.6 here.
I recently completed a commercial project in Excel 2003 running under
Windows XP in Parallels. I also worked a few days at the customer site
using Excel 2003 in Parallels and OS 10.6 on a 2GB MacBook! It's an
exercise in patience, but it CAN be done
Hope this helps
Version: 2008
Processor: Intel
I realize that Excel 2008 does not support VBA. Does anyone know what I can do
with a reporting tool in Excel which has been automated to some extent by VBA
in Windows Excel 97-2003? This has been created for 200+ reps and some of them
are using 2008. Are there alternatives? Can they have both 2004 and 2008 on
their computers?
Thanks.
Chris
