VBA mcaro from Word97 won't run in Word 2003

g-bro

I have a Word97 VBA macro which works on several PCs with same MSOffice
version, but not on PC with Office 2003.
The macro is too big to quote, and it references several files for
- interacting with Excel (EXCEL8.OLB),
- using the MSCal calendar control (MSCAL.OCX),
- using a 3rd party zip/compression add-in
It also does some Outlook automation, but that works on my PC without any
extra references.
The message that pops up has the title "Microsoft Visual Basic"
and the exact error message is "System Error H80004005 (-2147467259).
Unspecified Error."
I have limited access to the PC with Office 2003 (the boss's) which is
making it hard to experiment. Please help - this is costing me my job.
Thanx in advanx!!!

You've found the problem, you need Excel8.OLB and MSCal.OCX and the
project needs references to these files for the macro to run
correctly.

I'm not sure what your question is...
