VBA module copied to enterprise global doesn't display for others

I've copied a VBA module to the checked out enterprise global and
saved / checked in enterprise global. Although according to the
Organizer, the module name is in the list for the enterprise global,
no one else here who logs on says they see the macro in their macro
list (Tools | Macro | Macros....) Filtered for "All open projects"

Please advise.

In the Macros dialog, can they see it if they click the Macros In pick list
and select Global Template? Let us know.

Nope. Only I can see it. Seems logical also that they could see
it if "All open projects" is selected as well (I can see the macro
when that is selected as well).

Also, I was messing around with creating a custom toolbar this morning
that included an icon that runs this macro I have for folks to use.
I was going to start over because the button was shifted way over to
the right (please let me know how to fix that) and now that I've
deleted the toolbar from the enterprise global and deleted using Tools
| Customize Toolbars..., it just wont' "die". Still shows up each
time I open project.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Andy,

Which version of Project are you using? Proj2007 has had some issues with
the local cache. Try deleting the local cache and see what happens. Also
remember, that users will have to quit project completely and restart in
order to reload any changes in the global.

Also, be careful of the way you work. When I know I'm going to be developing
for the enterprise global, I either work directly in the checked out global
or I work in a project and use the organizer. I don't work in the local
global.

I haven't looked at the cache but I will. Yes, I'm using 2007 and the
folks I've asked to check it out don't normally have Project 2007
fired up. I'm sure they launched it after I asked them.

Do you know how I can deleted that darn tool bar?

Thanks,

When I looked at the local cache it showed that I had "eGlobal"
checked out. I have NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE. After I clean up the
cache and again attempt to delete the toolbar, close Project and
launch again, it STILL SHOWS UP!!!!

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Best,

Not only does the tool bar still show up, by regular toolbars are all
shifted around and don't stay in place after I move them.
This is on top of not being able to have other folks see the Macro
that I've created and placed in enterprise global.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

What happens when you run project without connecting to the server?
Does the toolbar appear?
If it does, then the problem is on your machine.
Delete the ENTIRE cache. Find out where it is, shut down project and then
use Windows explorer to delete the whole directory. Restart project.

If it doesn't, then it is in the enterprise global. Check out the enterprise
global and remove it.
