VBA or .net

I would like to know the future direction for VBA
developers.

Will Access still be a good solution for some desktop
applications or should we learn new skills to develop
windows applications by using .net?

Thanks

The next version of Access, part of Office 2003 (currently in Beta), still
uses VBA. I've not heard whether they plan to move to .Net for the version
of Office after that, or wait even longer.
