VBA Question regarding Page Setup

Application: Word 2000 SP3+
Problem: using VBA I need to change the Page Setup\Paper
Source\First and Other trays, for all sections in a
document, to the default printer tray. If a document
contains text columns, the columns are automatically
changed to "equal column width".

Why is this happening and how can I avoid this from
happening?

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Hi, SS,

Changing *any* setting in Page Setup should have nothing
at all to do with column widths. I suspect you have
something else going on, possibly trash from the macro
recorder. Can you show us the code of your macro?
