VBA - second instance of access

I would really appreciate any help.
How can I open a second instance of access and require that be closed before
the user can return to the first instance from which it was called?

Hi

Use a shell call with (after shell) docmd.quit on the 1st DB (or the 2nd if
you want to go back to the 1st) - hope that makes sense.
