VBA to open attachments and extract text

Hi all
I'm a new convert to VBAing in Office applications. Latest project i
to save some attachments from certain emails in a specific folder i
Outlook to a specific folder on C:, open the attachment, 'read' th
text there and extract only the text of a certain style. Am I being to
ambitious?!
I've managed to do the part I save the attachments I want to
particular folder but I'm having problems reading the text in th
attachment. I haven't seen anything on the web to allow copying of
particular style of text either.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? :confused

YOu would have to use methods appropriate to the specific file type to read its text. At this point, only you know what kind of files those are.
