VBA Toolbar not found, Excel 2002

Unable to find "VBA Toolbar". I have right-clicked
Standard Toolbar and selected/deselected Visual Basic from
toolbar list. All that does is make Visual Basic Editor
Button toggle on and off on the Standard Toolbar, but no
so-called Visual Basic Toolbar with its "Play", "Record",
and other buttons.
This missing toolbar is apparently a key part of "Lesson
1" in Microsoft's "Excel 2002 Visual Basic" textbook which
I bought to learn macro programming in Excel. So far, all
I've learned is that I can't do Lesson 1.
Anybody know how I can access VBA Toolbar?

There shouldn't be a Visual Basic Editor button on the Standard toolbar.
Sounds like someone has been playing around with your toolbars. Restart
Excel, choose View/Toolbars/Customize from the menu, select the Visual Basic
entry from the Toolbars list and clisk the Reset button. Make sure there is
a check mark beside the Visual Basic entry and click OK. Does it show up
now?

.Found solution quite similar to yours, and yes it
worked. Thank you for your quick response. The VBA Editor
button on the toolbar was not there originally and was
probably caused by my many efforts to solve my problem. It
can be easily toggled on and off. I leave it off. Thanks
again.
