does anyone no how to answer a proposed question like this. I was
looking through some old papers for next years module in this. As im
doing this as a module on my course and I want to get a head start in
understanding how to write this in essay formats.

any hints or clues would be very grateful in how to approach this. as
this will be helpful next year

I also want you to redo the continuous assessment assignment - but an
easy one this time. I require you to write a program that takes a
number,x, from cell A3 and a positive integer, n, from cell B3 then
returns into cell C3 the value of x raised to the power n divided by
n factorial. I will award you bonus marks if you put in some error
checking to ensure that a negative value of n cannot be used. Note
that x can be positive or negative. This will be examined orally on
the day of your examination, but should only take a few minutes

Cross posting the exact same question in multiple forums, or multiple times
in one forum doesn't get it answered any faster or better. Other forums have
on-going discussion of the solution. Check them.

Cross posting the exact same question in multiple forums, . . .

Try using correct terminology. OP *MULTIPOSTED*, not crossposted.
Crossposting would have been OK - posting to multiple newsgroups at the same
time by putting them all into the newsgroups tag. Sensible newsreader
software will treat the article as read in all crossposted newsgroups when
read in any one of them.

Oops - sorry, symantics - my moderator duties at another site considers
multiposting within that site as cross-posting since the 200+ forums there
are each considered distinct (i.e., Microsoft Help forum is not same as
Software Help forum)... I'll definitely try to keep the distinction clearer
in my head in the future. Thanks for the clarification on terminology here.
