VBScript - ActiveX Control error when slecting the "Export to Grid

We are in an Office 2003 enviroment using PWA, but several usersrun into the
following erro after selecting the hyperlinked text " Export Grid to Excel":
"The ActiveX control on which this feature depends could not be created.
Becase of this error, you can only copy the XML data to a Clipboard"

How do I address this erro so the Excel is launch as designed?

Check the Active X security settings in IE. Because EPM must be a trusted
site, it should be inside your firewall, so you should be able to lower this
setting to allow Active X scripts to run. This should resolve this issue, it
did for us.
