Vbscript disabled?

Hi,

I have designed a form and copied it over to the network. I'm aware that
vbscript will be disabled if you choose a form that is considered unsafe. To
try to work around that I published it under my personal forms library on the
network computer.

I'm going to hopefully use an Organisational library in the end but this
current setup is for development purposes.

The vbscript still seems to be disabled, I dont believe the form has one
offed since its retained its Class name IPM.Note.PriceChange.

I assume its all down to permissions? Currently I can't develop using the
view code feature either due to permissions.

Some enlightenment would be most welcome

Each user needs access to the published form definition. That means publishing it either to the Organizational Forms library or to each user's Personal Forms library. Also, the "Send form definition with item" box must be unchecked.

Right I unchecked the Send form definition (wasn't aware thats on by
default...) and still no good unfortunately.

I saved it to oft, transfer and open it on the network computer, publish it
under personal forms library (tried it with and without accepting to check
the save form definition when the dialog comes up)

The IT helpdesk are going to unblock my "view code" function when they get a
chance so maybe that'll help?

Any ideas?

If all you have is an .oft file, you need to open it with the Tools | Forms | Choose Form command, then publish it with the "send form definition with item" box unchecked.

I don't know what you mean by "unblock the view code function" as there is no specific option to block it.

As it stands on the network computer I cannot view the vbscript code when i
go to Form->View Code in form designer.

All I get when I try to view the code is:
"Unable to load this feature. The operation completed successfully"

I thought the cause was maybe the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\NoOutlookFormsDesigner

but that prevents even getting into form designer in the first place doesn't
it?

I'm guessing IT have locked out the "view code" somehow for security.

By the way the machine itself is a thin client running Citrix and Windows
Server 2003 as the main OS
