vcard and retrun address

O

Obean

HI,

I am using WinXP home and Office 2003 with Outlook (no exchange server).
When I send a regular email is comes from me, but when I forward a vcard, it
suddenly come from "me on behalf of -here it inserts a 4 year old email
address". I have not used that email address for 4+ years and it is not a
valid email address. Further, it is not anywhere in my contacts.

This only occurs when I am in contacts and use either forward or forward as
vcard options.

As an additional note it only happens with some contacts and not others.
The others show no return address at all. How do I fix this?

More information.

The return email address appear in the from field in the contacts:

Open a contact->All fields->mail fields from drop down menu.

The question where can I get to this field to edit it?

Create a new profile and setup your account in that. You can open the old pst
file in there and copy all the contents.

No. It has been gone for several years. As a matter of fact this is a new
computer, so while the .pst file could be moved, the email accounts had to be
recreated, so that account was never on this computer.
