vCard cannot be read by receiver

My boss recently moved to a new company, and asked that I send some of his contacts to him to be downloaded on his outlook at his new company. When he received the e-mail the contacts arrived as envelopes and once opened there was no information in them except his own name. What must I/he do to make this program work properly?

He should use the Actions | Forward as vCard ccommand to send you the items.
